How do I install the screen guard?

Each guard comes with installation accessories in the box, including an alcohol prep wipe and a dust-removal sticker. Clean the screen with the wipe, lift any dust with the sticker, line the guard up with the screen edges, then press from the centre outwards for a bubble-free squeeze-out install.

No-stress install

From box to protected in minutes.

Everything you need ships in the kit. Follow the quick steps once and forget about it for the long term.

Step 1

Prep the screen.

Use the included wet wipe to remove all dust and fingerprints from the BMW 5 SERIES 520 display.

Step 2

Align once.

Hold the protector over the screen and align with the corners and cutouts. Take your time here — it’s the only careful part.

Step 3

Drop and seal.

Peel the backing and let the protector settle from one edge to the other so air can escape cleanly.

Step 4

Push out bubbles.

Push any remaining bubbles to the edges. The adhesive levels itself over the next few hours.

One precision-cut tempered glass for the 520 OLD 10.1-inch infotainment. You get one glass for that display. No cluster or AC panel piece is included. See the price on each listing.

Fitment

Use this on a BMW 5 Series 520 OLD with the 10.1-inch iDrive from 2018 to 2020. The listing URL prints 2018-20. The title prints 520 OLD and 10.1-inch. A 2021 530 12.3-inch guard will not sit on this bezel. The facelift 2024 listing is a different cut. 520 ke 10.1-inch display ke liye yeh guard hai. Dispatch cutoff is 2 PM IST, dispatched from Kanpur, India. Prepaid orders get a 5 % discount.

Material and finish

The 520 guard is 9H tempered glass. An oleophobic coating resists fingerprints and smudges. A hydrophobic coating sheds water spots. The sheet is laser-cut to the 10.1-inch iDrive outline. Application is bubble-free. Press from the centre so air leaves at the edges. The layer does not dull touch sensitivity. Lifetime warranty on this guard. Checkout has no finish picker.

Care

Wipe the 10.1-inch glass with a soft dry cloth. Dampen the cloth if prints remain. Do not use kitchen cleaner on the coating. Keep grit off the cloth. Do not scrape the surface.
